The Magic of Acceptance
If you were to pick up ONE WORD from each alphabet as your favorite, WHAT WOULD THOSE WORDS BE!
FOR the first alphabet, A, my award goes to ACCEPTANCE!
To start with, this word may look passive, but it is there RIGHT AT THE TOP.
1. Acceptance of your weaknesses, ALLOWS you to FOCUS on your STRENGTHS.
2. Acceptance of other people’s behavior, OPENS UP new channels of communication. With near and dear ones, this opens up new levels of INTIMACY.
3. Acceptance of a FAILURE, releases negative emotions and PROVIDES NEW BEGINNINGS.
4. Acceptance of OBSTACLES, reduces their impact and leads you to TRANSCEND them.
5. ACCEPTANCE of any situation in your life, UNTANGLES you out of whatever conflict you were embroiled in! You get a FREE SPACE to THINK AFRESH CREATIVELY!
Accept your LIFE, whichever way it is AND whichever way it is NOT!
LET GO OF RESISTANCE to rejuvenate yourself and LIVE A LIFE YOU TRULY WISH TO LIVE!
Now, which are YOUR favorite words for the alphabet ‘A’?

I just completed the Landmark Education Curriculum for Living and a lot of what you wrote in your last two posts resonate with what I discovered out of my participation in Landmark Education courses.

Hey Khürt,
You have completed the curriculum! What a co-incidence that I have done it too! It is a great privilege to receive your comments:-))
It would be nice to know about your Self Expression & Leadership project.
You are right about the posts – Bang On! This post resonates with Landmark’s “I choose” distinction. Fittingly, it also resonates with what I experienced personally before and after doing the Landmark Form. I also discovered some common threads in what I read and learnt elsewhere. These are part of Universal Laws of this universe!
Your “Island in the Net” is awesome! State-of-the-art! Nice to know that you are “transformed” on technology front as well – with your Open Source support:-))

You can read the “press” about my project ( I have not completed it ) here: http://www.landmarkeducationnews.info/2008/02/01/landmark-forum-graduate-starts-support-site-for-fibromyalgia-sufferers-and-their-families/
I’ve been using open source for almost 13 years. Switched to OS X because I was sick of Windows blue screens and Linux device drivers were too much trouble. I just wanted a system to run Apache, MySQL, Perl and PHP.

Very Inspiring!
I have joined the Fibromyalgia community, and will be around.
Also, I found ning very interesting and created a new community:
http://omnizient.ning.com/!
The aim is to bring people together – especially, those who have chosen to contribute to the world using their unique self-expression(s) and would like to SHARE their triumphs and challenges!
For example, your unique path can inspire many and probably help causes you have initiated like Fibromyalgia.
As someone said: YOU discover YOUR Life Purpose at the cross-section of YOUR passion and the WORLD’ pain!
